GREEN ENERGY PROJECTS IN WALES

Wales is delivering a growing portfolio of clean-energy projects, leading innovation in wind and hydrogen. The Celtic Sea will host a floating wind-to-hydrogen demonstrator near Milford Haven – the Milford Haven: Hydrogen Kingdom (MH:HK) – set to scale from 15 MW to 135 MW and produce over 10,000 tonnes of green hydrogen each year. Wales is also home to the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm off the North Wales coast, one of Europe’s largest, generating 576 MW of clean power for around 400,000 homes. From onshore renewables to deep-sea innovation zones, Wales is turning its natural resources into world-leading green infrastructure – driving decarbonisation and attracting global investment.
