The Wales Health Tech Event at Expo will showcase our Health Tech & Life Sciences sector, one of Wales' key industries and a focus for our ongoing Wales and Japan campaign.

Through a series of presentations, panel sessions and demonstrations, this health tech event at Expo will showcase Welsh innovation to an international audience in Japan.

We will also discuss and promote opportunities for collaboration with Wales in the fields of research and academia. We will hold two sessions during the day, the first focusing on " Working with Wales for Advancing MedTech" and the second on "Wales as a home of research and real-world testing".

Through the day we will introduce Wales' innovation in health technology and the possibility of collaboration with Japan. This event will be held as part of the year long Wales and Japan 2025 campaign which provides an opportunity to further deepen the relationship between the two countries in areas such as culture, education, trade and innovation, with Japan being an important strategic partner for Wales.
