Connectivity - This UK gateway port offers multimodal connectivity including deep sea maritime access, direct mainline rail links and the convenience of the M4 motorway running adjacent. Port Talbot Tidal Harbour offers a unique port location, able to accommodate vessels of up to 16m draught, 300m in length and unlimited beam.

Delivering for customers - Predominantly used for imports of coking coal, minerals and ores to support South Wales steel production, The port also regularly handles a wide variety of cargoes including processed slag, sand, cement, steel, and heavy-lift cargoes via the Dock. In total the port typically handles over 7 million tonnes of cargo every year.

Development Opportunities – With a footprint of over 840 acres the port offers large areas of development land suitable for attracting exciting new regional and national investment opportunities in sectors ranging from renewable energy to port centric manufacturing. This nationally strategic port asset also has significant development opportunities available for the construction of additional berths and cargo-handling facilities in support of new long term supply chain hub solutions.
