The showcase will be one of the main events of the Welsh Government's year-long Year of Wales and Japan campaign, which will begin in January this year. The main objectives of the campaign are to promote trade and investment between the two countries, to brand Wales as a high-tech and innovative technology nation, and to promote human resource development and joint research and development through strong people-to-people connections.
