Wave-tricity has recently secured a £4 million funding award from the Welsh European Funding Office.

The project will develop a wave energy convertor from its base in Pembrokeshire, south Wales.

Matthew Fairclough-Kay, Wave-tricity’s Managing Director said, “Everyone on the team is looking forward to starting operations in Pembrokeshire. The support of Welsh Government demonstrates the clear commitment and this, allied to a strong base of local expertise, signals a bright future for marine energy in Wales.”
