Wales has a vibrant spinout community, with fresh and innovative young companies such as Alesi Surgical, an award-winning Cardiff University spinout developing pioneering surgical technology to aid surgeons clear surgical smoke and operate more efficiently.
Examples of research and incubation space include:
  • Clinical Innovation Accelerator - a joint venture between Cardiff University and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, located on the University Hospital of Wales Campus along with Cardiff University's School of Medicine aims to accelerate the translation of clinical innovation into improvements in health and clinical services:
