We have a clear ambition in Wales, to create a sustainable, low-carbon future and Wales is a world class location for marine energy. We have a marine resource suitable for both wave and tidal stream generation with access to a wide range of partners across academia, innovation, plus specialist supply chain in close proximity to a customer base. During Ocean Energy Europe 2020, we will be hosting ten partners on the Wales Pavilion who will be showcasing their products, services and technology that they have developed and utilised in Wales. As part of the event, there will be a Wales themed break out session – Wales Looking Forward: scheduled for 13.10pm GMT on 3rd December.  


Wales will have ten companies participating:

Aquatera - The core of Aquatera’s business includes environmental impact assessments and surveys, strategy and risk assessments, along with the development of sustainable infrastructure in countries around the world.

Bombora - Developers of a megawatt scale wave power converter called mWave™ that can deliver a true global alternative to complement today’s clean energy mix.

Grafmarine - Developing an integrated solar energy creation and, electrical storage system for any flat surface to create and store energy in one small tile.

Mainstay Marine Solutions - A partner of choice for marine energy device and support vessel fabrication projects.

Marine Energy Wales (MEW) - MEW brings together technology developers, project developers, supply chain, academia and the public sector aiming to establish Wales as a global leader in sustainable marine energy generation.

Marine Power Systems (MPS) - Wales’ leading home-grown wave energy technology developer.

MarineSpace - An environmental consultancy which provides specialist advice and services to a range of marine sectors.

META (Marine Energy Test Area) - Reduces the time, cost and risks faced by marine energy developers in order to accelerate growth in the sector.

Navmoor - Offer a full suite of buoys for almost any application.

Nova Innovation - One of the world’s leading tidal energy companies.
