Supported by the Welsh Government, a delegation of nine businesses from Wales will attend the Middle East’s largest trade show for the medical sector at Dubai World Trade Centre from 24–27 January – all taking advantage of an unrivalled opportunity to promote the latest innovations in healthcare technology, products and services from Wales.

They will join more than 3,500 global exhibitors and 56,000 healthcare professionals to learn, network and trade.

The ongoing expansion of the medical sector in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) offers great opportunities for Welsh businesses, and the United Arab Emirates is well established as one of Wales’ most important international trade partners.

The nine Welsh companies exhibiting at Arab Health as part of the trade mission are:

Eakin Surgical

EKF Diagnostics

Huntleigh

Reacta Healthcare

R&D Surgical

SurgiNovi

Weqas

Butterfly Data

NPTC Group of Colleges

The Welsh Life Sciences industry currently employs more than 12,000 people, in over 360 companies with an approximate turnover of £2bn.
